Women, Wine, Jewels and More 2025 raises more than $30k for scholarships

Published on Jan 28, 2025

The Â鶹´«Ă˝ (ACTC) Foundation hosted its annual Women, Wine, Jewels, and More event on Tuesday, January 21, raising $30,754 to benefit the Norma Meek Community Women’s Scholarship endowment.

The event, now in its sixth year, honors the legacy of Norma Meek, a dedicated leader in our community who founded the event. Proceeds from the evening support scholarships for female college students at ACTC.

Held at Bellefonte Country Club, this year’s event drew 131 attendees and featured hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction with jewelry, purses, and more.

“We are so grateful for the incredible support this event as received,” said Kim Minnehan, with ACTC’s advancement office. “Our hostesses and volunteers worked tirelessly to continue the legacy of Norma Meek and to make this year’s event extra special and one we believe she would have been proud of. We all miss her. Thank you to all the women, men, and businesses who joined together to make this event such a success.”
